CNAA   Software Implementation  Support

                With the Central Ministry supplying PC/Modem and other necessary hardware to districts and State Family Welfare Offices for feedback/monitoring of CNAA (Community Needs Assessment Approach) activities, the PC based software is being implemented by NIC in all the CNAA district locations (DHMO/CMO offices) and State Family Welfare offices. This web page is intended to support and help the implementation of the same by disseminating the required information for the benefit of  users at all levels in the Government.

The contents have now been enhanced and the following are facilitated at present :

  1. Updation of the Implementation Status at different locations, by the concerned Distt. /State NIC officials and also viewing of the current status by any officer/user, including the Central Ministry/State offices.
  2. It also has a facility to view the assigned district codes of all districts in a state, to help modifying the 'Master District - code Directory' in the s/w, if need be. Such need may arise, if there is no directory entry available for a particular district, or any district code in the Directory of the s/w is not matching with what is assigned for that District (as given here and also in the latest revised version of the s/w). [All district/State/Centre installations should have correctly matching/ corresponding codes in their s/w's Master District-code Directory, to enable correct interpretation of the data being transmitted and processed at various levels]
  3. The e-mail addresses created for each district (as per the latest s/w directory) of every state can also be viewed for reference, as per need. The list also identifies in the Remarks column, those districts which are not presently covered in the 'List of CNAA locations' (Where PC/modem etc. were supplied by the Ministry under RCH, for CNAA s/w implementation) provided by the Ministry. The Contents will further be enhanced in the future as per need. In the User-ID Help (for Status updation) some problems of identical user-IDs for two districts were reported in a few cases. Now this anomaly has also been rectified.
