Dr. Kathiria getting elected to the 11th Lok Sabha as a Member of Parliament in 1996 from Rajkot, Gujarat. He returned to 12th Lok Sabha in 1998 with All India Highest Lead of 3,54,816 votes again from Rajkot. He again returned to the 13th Lok Sabha in 1999, and became Minister fulfilling aspirations of people of Saurashtra.
Rajkot is founded in the year of 1610 by Vibhaji Jadeja & Raju Sandhi.
