Indoor Services are provided through 14 beds in the department and other Ward patients on referral basis.  Spinal Injury patients (Paraplegia, Quadriplegia) and Reconstructive Surgery patients are admitted.

Spinal Injury Rehabilitation Section:

This is the only such facility in Govt. sector in North India which caters to poor patients coming from Delhi, U.P., Uttranchal, Bihar, Punjab, J & K, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan & M.P.  It provides comprehensive rehabilitation services to these patients.

Major Reconstructive Surgery includes deformity correction., amputations and Krukenberg procedure, Neurectomies, tendon transfers including Leprosy Reconstructive Surgery,  Baclofen Pump Implantations etc.

Occupational Therapy

A fully equipped Occupational therapy section trains patients in activities of daily living through activity based exercises; and also cares for neurological cases.

Computerised Assessment and training of Hand function Unit is being installed shortly in this section.
