In the OPD, like all other specialty units patients are registered when they are referred from a primary care unit of the hospital, CGHS dispensaries or from other hospitals.  The OPD is run on all working days.  Registration is open from 9.00 am to 11.30 am on all days except on Saturdays when it is till 11.00 am.  The average OPD attendance is of 90 patients (35 new & 55 old patients).  The average yearly attendance of the respiratory medicine OPD is about 26039 (2005), & has been showing a steady increase over the years. OPD’s are conducted in Room Nos: 404, 413 & 415 (Ward 32).
